October 4th, 2024- Occasionally you just get super lucky and luck into a 'random' place that turns out to be one of the highlights of the trip. This was Val di Vizze for us. We had 1 more night before we needed to be in Soll for the marathon and knew we wanted to stay a little closer to the Austrian border than where we were in the Dolomites so we kind of just randomly picked this little valley just cuz it got us closer for the next day's drive to Soll. We'll always remember the serenity of the valley, the majestic peaks and the peaceful greenery. Out of all the places we stayed, this one is probably the one we'd like to live in the most and felt like we could have stayed for much longer exploring the mountains and hikes and all the nature around. Hopefully will be back to Val di Vizze one day.
Took a fun drive the next morning higher up into the mountains and enjoyed the fresh powder.
