Canal Cruise with Moncurs

8/30/2021: These are some of my favorite pictures of the trip. We rented our own boat and cruised for three hours along the pretty Amsterdam canals. Each taking turns driving the boat and trying to keep kids occupied. After the boat ride, we hit up "Food Hallen" for lunch and then shopped around the city and feeding birds in Dam square and getting a hot dog.

Zaandam Windmills

Aug 28th, 2021:

MY PARENTS CAME TO AMSTERDAM!!! YAYY! I told them they were invited and same week had tickets booked to visit and help us move. Whitney came too which was so awesome, she was just engaged before coming so it was so fun to have that time with her and plan wedding ideas. One of our first adventures was going to Zaadam Windmills. It was a great outing! We left early in attempts to beat the crowds and had great weather. We finished off the day renting bikes (which was my moms highlight of amsterdam, she LOVED biking the city) and eating by the canal.

Amsterdam Overload, Whitney + Parents

Amsterdam overload! I loved having my family here. We all stayed in the "Museum" Dutch Masters house together and had so much fun. We got access to our apartment and everyone helped us start to get it set up which was soooo nice! Just the bunkbed itself would have taken me an entire week. We did shopping, flower market, museums, (Anne Frank, Corrie Ten Boon, Van Gogh), stroopwafles, canal ride, and just a lots of hanging out together and eating out and talking wedding before the real trip together: GERMANY!
