Aug 23rd: Goodness this place! I'm at a loss of words to describe this hiking wonderland. This was an amazing day. We unfortunately did had a lot of cloud coverage in the beginning which was a bummer, but still was unreal beautiful. By the time we reached Lac Blanc we were starting to get pretty cold and didn’t have any layers to put on. Like a God-send, there was a hut that wasn’t open inside yet but because we had little kids they let us in early and we had the greatest hot chocolate inside and warm soup that warmed the soul. Without that pitstop we would had some pretty cold, unhappy campers. When we got back on the trail the clouds parted and got some magnificent views on the round trip trek back. Grateful for this place and opportunity to hike here. This is one place we hope to return again, maybe without kids next time :)
