April 25, 2025: My parents arrived just in time for tulip season! This year, instead of biking through the endless flower fields like we’ve done in the past, we visited the famous Keukenhof Gardens. It was so pretty!
It was such a different experience being up close with the tulips, walking among them instead of cycling. We got to see so many incredible varieties and colors, and I was honestly amazed by the artistry in the garden layouts. The color combinations and arrangements were so thoughtfully done, it really felt like walking through a floral museum.
This was actually my first time visiting Keukenhof, so it was really fun to check it off my list—and even more special to do it with my parents. I've visited a lot of gardens during my time in Japan, but Keukenhof still managed to wow me. It’s on a whole other level. I’m so glad we got to experience it together, really fun date with Lucy!
