Sept.5: The itinerary for the day was exploring Cochem! I think one of the top views of the trip was driving there from Ulmen, we turned a corner and could see this castle below peeking out of the mist. It was stunning we pulled off the road and got some pictures and admired it from above. This picture is great, but still doesn't do it justice. It was just beautiful. Then we spent the rest of the day walking around the city, continuing our food show and trying some new things. We went to the castle and because of covid and forgetting the vaccine cards here my parents and whiney wouldn't go inside the castle which was unfortunate. But Cochem was still a win, such a charming place to explore along the Moselle River.
