March 5th- 9th 2024: Due to an expiring drivers license which could no longer be renewed online and cheap Aer Lingus flights to SF, made for a quick trip home that spawned a multi-day tennis galore. Now lovingly known as 'The Academy', consisted of 2-a-day multi-hour tennis sessions in the morning and afternoon, capped off by a volleyball session at night for 3 days in a row. Time in between sessions were spent nursing various ailments and sore body parts with the preferred recovery devices while watching Indian Wells matches. If you've ever seen Space Jam, the scene of the Looney Toon bench squad nursing their injuries after getting physically accosted by the Monstars, that was us. Epic times with the tennis lads.
