Sept. 27, 2025: We spent day 3 exploring the Logar Valley! We planned this in advance and had reallyy high expectations. In the moment, it didn't quite land the way we imaged-- but now looking back at photos I'd love to wander here with Ashley again and be in nature away from the city. It is a protected landscape park, so felt a bit too manicured and polished rather than wild and free. The day was also really overcast which made it hard to really get a good view of the mountain backdrops beyond. We still had a nice slower day and fun wandering together.

Ashley really wanted to see some highland cows and finally we saw them, but too far away and fence to get a good picture. Next time.
